The main aim of this report is to provide the systematic procedure on how to handle, operate and wash the Slush Puppy Dispenser.

Definition and term references      

Slush puppy machine – suitable for chilled drinks and alcoholic slushy cocktails such as Pina Colada and Margarita.

Gasket - a shaped sheet or ring of rubber or other material sealing the junction between two surfaces in an engine or other device.

Sanitizing - is defined as cleaning something to make it free of bacteria or disease causing elements

Installation and Operating guide

Fill the bowl with product to the maximum level mark. Do not over fill,

In case of products to be diluted with water, pour water into bowl first, then add correct quantity of product.

Set the power switch to I position

Set the mixer/refrigeration switches as follows

1.To the (I) position to get soft drink.

2.To the (II) position to get granite.

Cleaning guide

To prepare sanitizing solution

1.Fill a 5L container with water.

2.Pour one bag of sanitizing solution into the water.

3.Mix the solution for 2 minutes or until all the sanitizer is dissolved.

4.Pour the solution into the machine bowls.

Remove cover from the bowl.

Remove the bowl by lifting its faucet side up and off the fastening hooks and slide it out.

Slide the outer spiral out and then the inside auger.

Remove the bowl gasket from its seat.

Place the parts in the sanitizing solution for 5 minutes

Clean all the exterior surfaces of the unit.

Let the machine dry

Assembly the machine.

 

 

 
 

Troubleshooting guide

1. Leakage off juice or water -  Leakage from the throat block (Change gaskets or sealing)

2. The juice cannot be discharged - The beater shaft does not rotate (Repair or change the damaged parts)

3. Is the power switched OFF? The power should be ON.

3. Has a circuit tripped out? Re-set/repair as necessary.

4. Is the 3-pin plugged firmly into the wall socket? Check another appliance such as a toaster or kettle in the same socket.

 

 

 
 

Safety Instructions

 

 

 

  1. Do not operate the juice dispenser without reading the owner’s manual.

  2. Do not operate the juice dispenser unless it is properly grounded.

  3. Do not operate the dispenser unless all panels are restrained with screws.

  4. Do not remove bowls, augers and panels for cleaning or routine maintenance unless the dispenser is disconnected from its power source.

Exceptions and escalation

1.When handling the machine never grasp it by the bowls or by the evaporator cylinders.

2.Before any disassembly and/or cleaning procedure make sure that, the Slush Puppy Dispenser is disconnected from its power source.
